Keystone Lake Catfish Adventure with Chuck and Dylan
Fort Gibson Lake - Wagoner, OK
Today I had Chuck Buchda and his grandson Dylan aboard for some catfish catching on Keystone. I arrived at the lake at 6:30am, caught some fresh shad and prepared the boat and equipment for action. The guys showed up at 8, boarded the old Predator and we set out on our day. We made a run to where the fish have been and started looking around. Wasn't long before we were in the big middle of a pile of catfish. I started putting rods out and got about halfway done and they were already hooked up with the first fish of the day. The bite was steady and kept my guys busy for a few hours. They put some nice fish in the box and even had two overs that we got pics of and released. The bite slacked off where we were so started looking around again and the Lowrance Live Pro found us some more schools of catfish. We set up and started reeling in more fish. We ended the day with 20 in the box and two overs released. Made 4 gallons of nice Blue cat fillets and one channel cat. Was a beautiful day with some new friends. Thank you Chuck for booking my services. Catfish bite is hot! I have some dates available!!
